Doha, Nov 18: MCC Qatar volleyball team emerged victorious at the Winter Khel Mahotsav Volleyball Tournament, organized by the Indian Sports Center (ISC). Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, dedication, and resilience, the team secured the championship in a thrilling super final against Tulukoota Qatar.
The tournament featured eight teams, divided into two groups. MCC Qatar, placed in Group B, remained unbeaten throughout the league stage, advancing to the knockout rounds with confidence and determination.
The MCC Qatar team comprised:

The team’s unbeaten run in the tournament was marked by key victories:
- Match 1: MCC Qatar vs. Al Habari Challenge – 25-10, 25-18
- Match 2: MCC Qatar vs. Al Jazi – 25-11, 25-18
- Match 3: MCC Qatar vs. Q Spikers – 25-22, 25-16
- Semi-final: MCC Qatar vs. Tamil Youth Sports – 25-16, 25-20
- Final: MCC Qatar vs. Tulukoota Qatar – 29-27, 23-25, 15-13
In the final, MCC Qatar claimed victory after an intense battle. The team secured the first set 29-27, lost the second set 23-25, but rebounded to win the decisive third set 15-13, clinching the championship.
