Puttur, Nov 21: A bus carrying passengers to a marriage function crashed into a roadside house at Amchinadka near Kaavu while attempting to avoid a collision with a school bus.

The bus was traveling from Puttur to Sullia for a marriage event, while the school bus belonging to Madhura International School was on its way from Sullia to Perlampady to pick up students. As the school bus turned near Amchinadka, the bus carrying wedding passengers suddenly approached from the opposite direction. In an attempt to avoid a collision, the driver swerved sharply, causing the bus to go out of control and crash into a nearby house.

Fortunately, the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and the passengers in the bus escaped with minor bruises. Locals praised the driver's quick thinking, which averted a major tragedy. However, the house sustained significant damage in the mishap.
