Mangaluru: Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College Hospital celebrates 7th Naturopathy Day

Mangaluru, Nov 22: The 7th Naturopathy Day was celebrated on November 18th, at Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, organized by the department of clinical naturopathy.

The programme commenced with invocation by Mohammad Fasi 2nd year BNYS student followed by lamp lighting which was done by the chief guest Dr Pradeep Damodaran, principal in-charge Markaz Naturopathy and Yoga Medical college, Kozhikode, Kerala.

The programme was continued with insightful opening remarks and welcome address from Dr Padmashree, who emphasized the importance of Naturopathy Day and following natural healthy life style.

Dr Abhijna, programme co-ordinator, then presented a comprehensive report on the activities conducted on account of 7th Naturopathy Day which included Naturopathy health awareness camps in and around Mangalore and exciting competitions such as reel making competition, innovative herbal medicine competition, debate competition, mime and skit competitions.

Later Dr Rafida, programme co-ordinator, announced the winners of the above competitions.

In the guest speech, the chief guest Dr Pradeep Damodaran stressed on the importance of naturopathy in this era and he also focussed on carrier opportunities for the naturopathy graduates in future days. He encouraged students to apply the knowledge gained here.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr Vajrakshi, programme co-ordinator, who expressed gratitude to the guests, participants, faculties and all the students for their support and enthusiasm.
