Mangaluru: Swimmers rescue girl who jumped into sea

Mangaluru, Nov 24: A girl who jumped into the sea from Rudrabanda in Someshwar was rescued by swimmers on Sunday, November 24 morning.

The girl, a college student from Mangaluru residing in a rented house in Madur, was saved using rescue equipment available at the spot.

She was brought to safety and later admitted to Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru.

The girl is reportedly safe, and further details about the incident are awaited.

    Thank God she is saved at the moment.Thanks to the team .Loos like she wanted to end life?Mostly young girls suicide reason is mostly any love affair took a wrong direction?Parents ?however no prize for guessing.Important is she is rescued.Hope she will remain in future too so.Hope someone gives her right direction or?make her happy.May God bless her .She shouldnt loose hopes of a better and happy living.

    Congratulations to the rescuers. Great job. If it is a suicide attempt, the girl should not be let free, should be sent for psychiatric treatment. Parents should be called for company & support.
