Mangaluru: Swimmers rescue girl who jumped into sea

Mangaluru, Nov 24: A girl who jumped into the sea from Rudrabanda in Someshwar was rescued by swimmers on Sunday, November 24 morning.

The girl, a college student from Mangaluru residing in a rented house in Madur, was saved using rescue equipment available at the spot.

She was brought to safety and later admitted to Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru.

The girl is reportedly safe, and further details about the incident are awaited.

    Congratulations to the rescuers. Great job. If it is a suicide attempt, the girl should not be let free, should be sent for psychiatric treatment. Parents should be called for company & support.
