Rome, Nov 30: "Centuries ago, Christians established schools in rural India, contributing selflessly to societal welfare and uplifting the lives of the common people. May the higher education you pursue at this prominent Christian religious center in Rome and your spirit of service inspire you to render selfless service in the rural areas of Karnataka," said Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader.
He was addressing members of Christian organizations of Karnataka origin during an event organized by Konkani Kutam Rome and the Kannadigas’ Association Rome at the St Peter's Pontifical College.
