Titus Noronha, H M Pernal get elected as AIKP office-bearers for '24-'26 in Goa AGM

Goa, Dec 1: The annual general body meeting of All India Konkani Parishad (AIKP) was held on December 1, 2024 at Madgaon, Goa.

Karnataka's poet and thinker Titus Noronha was elected as the vice-president while poet and critic H M Pernal got elected as the treasurer. Rakesh Menezes, Sakleshpur got elected as the special invitee for the period 2024-26.



The other office-bearers include:
President: Fr Mouzinho De Ataide, Goa

Vice-President: Hema Naik, Goa

Working President: Chetan Acharya, Goa
Vice Working Presidents: Titus Noronha, Mangalore, P N Krishnan, Kerala, Rosario Pinto, Malwan
Secretary: Sneha Sabnis, Goa
Joint Secretary: Philomena Samfrancisco, Goa
Treasurer : H M Pernal, Mangaluru
Invitees: Anant Agni, Goa, Rakesh Menezes, Sakleshpur, Aravind Bardeskar, Gadhinglaz, Maharastra.

All India Konkani Parishad is a 85-year old organisation which works for the welfare of Konkani language across various states organising national-level Konkani Adhiveshans and literary conferences regularly supporting the cause of Konkani and its people.

Shashikant Punaji was the election officer.
