Kundapur: Guddali Pooja held for Rs 10 cr Haladi-Shankaranarayana highway development

Kundapur, Dec 2: The Public Works Department (PWD) has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for the development of the Shankaranarayana-Haladi state highway. A Guddali Pooja ceremony was held at Shankaranarayana to mark the commencement of the project.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Gururaja Gantihole said, “The state highway is completely damaged. The Guddali Pooja has been conducted in response to complaints raised by workers and the public. This is the first grant I have secured since becoming MLA, and it is allocated for the development of the Shankaranarayana-Haladi state highway.”

The event was attended by Shankaranarayana gram panchayat president Umesh Shetty Kalgadde, members Ravi Kulala, Latha, Poornima, Krishnamurthy D Shet, Sudeep Shetty Hebbadi, Gurudath Shet, and local leaders Dr K Sidananda Vaidya, Panduranga Naika, Vijaya Yadamakki, Chandrahasa Hegde, Shekhara Kulala Siddapura, and Gopal Kanchan.
