Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Dec 2: A yellow alert has been issued for 10 districts of Karnataka, including Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, on December 2 and 3, as heavy rains are anticipated due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal, which has formed in the Bay of Bengal.

According to C.S. Patil, Director of the Bengaluru division of the IMD, moderate rains are expected in the south interior parts of the state and the coastal region until December 3, with some areas likely to experience heavy rainfall. Cloudy weather has prevailed across most of the south interior parts of Karnataka due to the cyclone’s effect.

On Sunday afternoon, the coastal region also witnessed overcast conditions, while light rains were reported in Sullia, Arantodu, and Panja on Sunday night.
