Udupi: Decomposed body found in garbage identified

Udupi, Dec 2: The identity of the decomposed body found in a pile of garbage at Bhogi Haadi near Mooru Road in Hebri Kelapete has been established.

The deceased has been identified as Rajeeva Panara (54), a resident of Hebri Santhekatte. Reports suggest that he was living in a rented house in Belanje and was addicted to alcohol. It is said that he often avoided going home, instead sleeping at the bus stand. He was last seen three days ago by students from a nearby college while sitting at the bus stand.

The cause of death remains unclear, and it is yet to be determined whether it was a case of suicide or due to other circumstances.
