Mangalore: No Intention to Become State BJP President - Yeddyurappa

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (PS)

Mangalore, Dec 18: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who landed in Mangalore airport at 10.15 am on Sunday December 18 told reporters that he does not have any intention of becoming the president of the state BJP unit.

The final decision however will be taken by the party high command in Delhi, he added.

He expressed confidence that CM Sadananda Gowda will win the upcoming legislative election hands-down, adding that all MLAs are with the party.

About the verbal battle between Eshwarappa and Sriamulu, he said that he will speak to Sriramulu and sort out the issue.

It may be recalled that on his last visit a few days back, Yeddyurappa did not wish to speak to media. However, this time he seemed to be in a good frame of mind and interacted with the media openly.

After landing in Mangalore, he left for Polali temple. Later, he will visit Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara temple and will halt in Mangalore tonight. On Monday December 19 he will go to Kalladka.

He was accompanied by Shobha Karandlaje. MLA Ganesh Karnik, B Nagaraj Shetty welcomed him at the airport.

Mr. Chittaranjan, It is not majority but everybody is safe. You see at the begining when he became CM, Oppn. tried to create problem by using police confidents but once he got the control by change of guard at the top level police no body dared to create further problems and for the past two years we had ZERO communal problems and no freequent bus bandh/strike which was the need of everybody irrespective of religion.

In the last three years Shri Yeddi visited temples and touching feet of religious mighty but failed. He is claiming that he is a pro farmer.Merely visiting religious places and giving statements won't solve the farmers and common mans problems .People blessing is more important. Not only Shri Yeddi but all in powers. In this country majority politicians are opportunistic and want only power but they don't do anything for the common man and down-trodden.

Where is the District President of BJP,Mr Kottari?Even though Yeddy has no power @ the moment, he is instrumental in bringing only South India's BJP Govt in Karnataka. He still has mass appeal and if by unfortunate event,Yeddy thinks to quit BJP then there could be no BJP govt hear after in Karnataka.

BJP Central Command in a fix either to hand over Numero Uno power to him or not to!Under prevailing circumstances Yeddy has no option left but to secede from the BJP.However, coming Council election will clear air for some extent to Yeddy and BJP Party alike.

It is good that he has no intention to become state BJP head. Even if he had an intention, the BJP high command would have never approved him. This is what you call 'Grapes are sour'
