Kasargod: Vande Bharat Express faces technical snag, strands passengers

Kasargod, Dec 5: The Vande Bharat Express traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod encountered a technical snag, leaving passengers stranded on the tracks.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the train, after departing from Thiruvananthapuram, developed a technical issue near Shoranur station. This led to the malfunctioning of the train’s doors and air conditioning systems, causing inconvenience to passengers who were stuck inside the train.

The train was later towed back to Shoranur station using a diesel engine.

Railway officials have confirmed that efforts are underway to identify the cause of the technical glitch.
