Mangaluru: DC Mullai Muhilan charms audience with Tulu song

Mangaluru, Dec 7: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district, Mullai Muhilan, won the hearts of Tuluvas by singing a Tulu song at the Sneha Sauharda Sammilana programme held on Thursday evening at the city police commissioner's auditorium. The event was organized by the Dakshina Kannada district police and the Mangaluru Commissionerate unit.

Muhilan's performance has gone viral on social media, with many netizens appreciating his effort.

 

A native of Tamil Nadu, Muhilan has been serving in Mangaluru for some time and has taken the time to learn about Tuluva traditions and rituals. His respect and admiration for the region's culture were evident in his performance, which was warmly received by the people of the coastal area.

In the past, Muhilan also spoke in Tulu during a voting awareness campaign held ahead of the last Lok Sabha elections.
