Beltangady: Man sentenced to two years in prison for stabbing wife, father-in-law

Beltangady, Dec 8: The JMFC court of the taluk has sentenced Hakim, who was accused of stabbing his wife and father-in-law on July 26, 2024, to two years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.

Hakim attacked his wife, Sajeera, while she was feeding their child at her in-laws' house in Kaniyoor, causing injuries.

When her father, Mohammed, attempted to rescue her, Hakim stabbed him as well.

The swift verdict in this case, which occurred just a few months ago, has been appreciated by the public.
