Bantwal Revenue Officers’ Association condemns assault on Kadaba village officer

Bantwal, Dec 8: The Bantwal Taluk Revenue Officers' Association has strongly condemned the assault on Siddalinga Jungameshetty, the Kadaba village officer, by land encroachers during his visit to a government land encroachment site. The attackers, including Muthuswamy and others, reportedly carried out the assault.

The association has demanded the immediate arrest and harsh punishment for the culprits. A formal petition has been submitted to the deputy commissioner through the Bantwal Tahsildar, calling for swift action.

Warning of further action, the association has stated that if the accused are not arrested within 24 hours, they will initiate a pen strike starting Monday.

The petition was submitted in the presence of key figures, including association president Anil K Poojari, honorary president Praveen Kumar, vice-president Karibasappa Nayak, secretary Prashant, and other prominent members.
