Mangaluru: NCC Army Wing 2024-25 at Milagres College inaugurated

Mangaluru, Dec 8: The inauguration of the NCC Army Wing 2024-25 at Milagres College was held on December 7, in the college auditorium.

The event was inaugurated by sub-inspector Janet D’Cunha of the Central Reserve Police Force. Speaking on the occasion, she emphasised that 'Unity and Discipline' can transform students into better citizens of tomorrow. She added that NCC plays a crucial role in fostering such awareness, helping students develop their multifaceted personalities, and shaping the future of the nation.

Presiding over the event, Fr Dr Michael Santhumayor, the principal of Milagres College, remarked that NCC is a significant activity for students to instill discipline in their lives. He stressed the importance of youth communities like them in shaping the country’s future.

NCC PI staff N B Patil, college NCC coordinator Denzil Edward Pinto, cadet leader Naveen, and all the cadets were present at the event.

The programme began with a welcome address by LCPL Prekshika D R. Mohammad Jazeem Jaleel delivered the vote of thanks, and Farhana compered the event.
