Udupi: Wilson Olivera Nite Set to Entertain Sasthan Crowd on Jan 4

Udupi, Dec 20: Konkani music star Sangeeth Sardar Wilson Olivera is set to present his 31st musical show on January 4, 2012 at Sasthan Church ground at 6 pm. The event will be a charity show to raise funds for the cause of the development of Sasthan Parish on the occasion of the Parish Annual Festival (Vodlem Festh), organized by Sasthan parish committee in association with Terence and Sharmila Lewis, Sasthan / Abu Dhabi, the sponsors of this entire mega music show.

Wilson Olivera

Wilson Olivera, a bright shining star from the Konkani music galaxy, with music as his passion and singing as his way of life, a singer, composer and a lyricist, with over 800 Konkani songs of his own is all set with his team to rock the stage on this event. His endless quench for music is what has led him to have about 5 super hit music albums, 30 successful shows in places like Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. The 32nd musical show is scheduled on February 3, 2012 at Sharjah, UAE.

The musical show which would consist of 16 numbers most among which will be from his new compositions, are guaranteed to set the spectators hearts on fire along with comedy skits and dance.

Sangeeth Sardar Wilson Olivera has already captured the hearts of Konkani music lovers not only by his meaningful lyrics but also by this melodious voice. Winner of the title of International Toast Master Awards for 4 consecutive years, Ronald Olivera, the younger brother of Wilson Olivera will grace the musical night with his ever evolving orator ship and witty one liners. Ronald has also graced the shows of many a famous musicians like the late Wilfy Rebimbus, Henry D’souza, Melwyn Peris, Claud D’Souza, Mick Max, Maxim Pereira, Esther Noronha and even Goan Nightingale Lorna with his much possessed gift of the gab. Being a darling of the media, Ronald is time and again interviewed and featured by Doordarshan, All India Radio, Times of India and many Konkani media mediums. The very famous orchestra maestro Adrian Gomes, the master of all musical instruments and the man who composed music for Wilson Oliver’s 3rd and 4th music albums and also have 3 instrumental albums for his credit. He had the privilege of playing musical accompaniment to renowned orchestras and performed for several renowned Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil screen playback singers and directors like O P Nayyar, Dr P Susheela, Vasundhara Das etc. He had also directed may Wilson Olivera’s shows in Gulf region and now will be conducting and directing this Musical Nite. His musical expertise is guaranteed to set your hearts on fire at this event.
