Subramanian Swamy's Janata Party may Join NDA

New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI): Subramanian Swamy's Janata Party may join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance as talks between the two parties are on in this regard.

"I am open to the idea. There is no ideoloigcal clash between my party and the BJP. I think the move would help consolidation of patriotic votes. We have no problems with NDA," Swamy said.

He was reacting to reports that BJP has been mulling his party's induction into NDA.

Swamy, however, said no decision has been taken in this regard and that the question whether Janata Party will be part of the NDA should be posed to BJP chief Nitin Gadkari.

He said most of the leaders in BJP were known to him and that he would welcome any move to make his party a part of the NDA.
