Bengaluru, Dec 11: Karnataka’s Industries Minister M B Patil, who is currently leading a delegation in Germany to promote the State’s flagship event Invest Karnataka 2025, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Krones, a global leader in bottling and packaging equipment manufacturing in Germany, for its investment for setting up a manufacturing facility in the Vemagal Industrial Park’s Phase 2.
The delegation led by the minister visited the Krones’ headquarters in Neutraubling and held discussions with the company’s leadership, including its CEO, according to information from the minister’s office.
The delegation got a comprehensive overview of the Company’s operations and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities.
The MoU ensures expedited operationalization of Krones’ facility, with the Government of Karnataka assuring full support for a seamless setup.
In addition to the facility, discussions were held with Krones’ suppliers to encourage ancillary investments in Karnataka, enhancing the state’s industrial ecosystem.
Krones emphasized the strategic advantages of Karnataka, including its robust infrastructure and pro-business environment, which align perfectly with their long-term growth strategy.
The Germany roadshow is part of Karnataka’s global outreach to attract investments and partnerships in the lead-up to Invest Karnataka 2025, the state’s flagship Global Investors Meet.
These initiatives underline Karnataka’s proactive approach to fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and creating sustainable opportunities for global businesses.
