St Aloysius Deemed to be University organises MBA alumni meet ‘Reconnecting Memories’

Mangaluru, Dec 12: The much-awaited alumni meet of MBA department of St Aloysius Deemed to be University took place on December 8. The alumni meet was organised at St Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru. The meeting was started with a prayer. The alumni meet was inaugurated by Dr (Fr) Kiran Coth SJ, director AIMIT. The strategy game conducted by the MC set the tune for a very enjoying and fulfilling environment in the alumni meet. The alumni from different batches participated in the game.

The alumni meet was attended by alumni from first batch (2004-2006) to the last passed out batch (2022-2024) of the MBA programme. All the attendees shared their fond memories of MBA days and they also provided a glimpse of their current profile and achievements.

Dr (Fr) Kiran Coth SJ, director of AIMIT in his address shared his overwhelming joy in interacting with MBA alumni. Fr Kiran pointed out the need for more collaboration between the alumni and the institute. He invited them to college to interact with current students and to share their corporate experience. The director declared that the alumni meet of 2025 will be held in AIMIT campus itself. A core committee of alumni was formed by electing representatives from different batches.

The alumni meet became a venue for the attendees to recollect the cheerful moments they spent in the MBA days. Sachin Pinto (2010-2012 batch), marketing specialist, IKEA Bengaluru, compered the programme. Sachin Pinto as the MC kept everyone connected and involved throughout the meeting. The meeting was attended by Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, Fr Roshan Pereira SJ, Dr Beena Dias (HOD-MBA department) and Dr Rowena Wright. The faculty coordinator of the alumni association, Dr Justine James thanked everyone. The alumni meet 2024 left positive and lasting vibes on the participants.
