Srinivas University organises orientation programme for postgraduate courses

Mangaluru, Dec 12: Srinivas University organised the orientation programme for postgraduate courses for the academic year 2024-25 on December 4, at Hotel Srinivas, Mangaluru.

The chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, in his presidential address, encouraged students to aim high and reach for the sky. He emphasized the importance of learning technical aspects and utilizing the facilities provided by the university to achieve success in life.

The pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr A Srinivas Rao, assured the students that the university offers all necessary facilities to help them gain in-depth knowledge of their subjects, ensuring their future success.

Prof N Mithra S Rao administered the oath to the students, and Vijayalakshmi R Rao blessed the students with her inspiring words. Dr Sathyanarayana Reddy, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University, introduced the university and its offerings.

The event was graced by Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar, development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr Shailashree (research coordinator), Dr Pavithra Kumari (dean, Institute of Aviation Studies), Dr Praveen (dean, Mukka campus), Dr Sonia Delrose Noronha (dean, Institute of Port, Shipping, and Logistics), and Prof Prashanth Prabhu (dean, Institute of Hotel Management, Tourism, and Interior Design).

Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean of the Institute of Management and Commerce, welcomed the gathering. Prof Swarna Kanchan delivered the vote of thanks. Prof Vinutha and Prof Swathi Kumari compered the programme.
