Udupi, Dec 21: SEVA (Service - Entertainment - Vision - Action), a forum of Brahmavarites is back again with its annual entertainment bash. SEVA is all set to lead Brahmavarites to the New Year 2012 with ‘Darbar-2012’ to be held on January 1, 2012 at the Makkala Mantapa at Brahmavar near here.

SEVA, ever since its inception in 2010, has come a long way in establishing itself as one of the premier forums in bringing together Brahmavarites together through its motto of Service, Entertainment, Vision and Action.

SEVA’s dream project www.brahmavara.com which was launched with the aim of reaching out to Brahmavarites spread across the nuke and corner of the world has been quite successful in its mission. Along with this a few projects such aimed at bringing together youth and channeling their energies and talents towards building a better society are in the pipeline.

Darbar-2012 will be a special evening as for the first time in the history of the vicinity two great Konkani artistes will be performing together in Brahmavar. Sangeet Samrat Henry D’Souza of ‘Ye Ye Cathrina’, ‘Ami Dogi Sezara’ fame will be performing alongside Nephie Rod, melodious singer of Goan origin who has performed along with number of Bollywood singers and music directors.

They will be supported by Rony Byndoor, Anthony Tauro and Rubina Furtado. Rony Byndoor is one of the favourite voices of the Gulf. Rony who is based in Dubai at present has lent his voice to many Konkani albums and performed during various Konkani programmes in both in the UAE as well as back in the native.

Anthony Tauro is a young and up and coming singer cum composer of Chikmagalur origin who has created ripples among the Konkani speaking people of Mumbai in the last few years while Rubina Furtado is a new shining star across the Konkani horizon and she has already won the music lovers’ hearts with her mellifluous voice in number of Konkani devotional albums.

Ocean Kids who had dished out rocking performances during Darbar 2010 and Sargam are again all set to mesmerize the people during Darbar-2012.

Local artistes leg by impressive Raviprakash Gonsalves will be taking charge of humour quotient of the evening. The team which has over the years entertained Brahmavarites with their superb acting skills and rib-tickling comedy and now again they are ready to send the audience in peals of laughter.

Roshan D’Silva Vamanjoor is one of the most sought after comperes these days in the Gulf region. With his fab voice and unique style of compering, Roshan set out new standards of compering. His presence as the emcee will be another attraction of Darbar-2012.
