First Look at Bill, then Talk: Khurshid Tells BJP

New Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS): Law Minister Salman Khurshid Wednesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for criticising the proposed Lokpal bill without even looking at it.

Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House, Khurshid said: "Has the BJP seen the bill? Without looking at the bill, they are talking of betrayal. First have a look at the bill, then talk."

"Are we going to work on the suggestions of others? We are sensitive...we received suggestions from different organisations, including voluntary organisations. Those which were found to be appropriate have been included in the Lokpal bill cleared by the cabinet on Tuesday evening," the minister added.

In an obvious jibe at Team Anna, Khurshid said: "If they don't want to take credit (for their suggestions being incorporated in the Lokpal bill), then we can't force them to do so."
