Bantwal: Police nab absconding accused wanted in multiple cases

Bantwal, Dec 14: City police have arrested an accused from Mumbai involved in a cheating case two years ago, who had been absconding since then.

The accused, Abdul Aziz, a resident of Sampya in Puttur, has four cheating cases registered against him at the Bantwal police station, along with other pending cases.

An arrest warrant was issued against Aziz after he failed to attend court hearings.

The operation to apprehend Aziz in Mumbai was led by Bantwal city police station Inspector Anant Padmanabha, along with PSIs Ramakrishna, Kalaimar, Durgappa, and Gopala, ASI Suju, and HC Jagadish.
