With a vibrant Hawaiian theme, the event, held at Sharjah Wanderers Sports Club, brought together families from across the UAE for an unforgettable day of celebration. For the first time, a Konkani event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of over 2000 attendees, marking a historic milestone with unprecedented crowd participation and enthusiasm.
Highlights of the day:
The Family Fiesta opened with a thrilling Tug of War competition. The charismatic MC, Lloyd D’Souza, whose vibrant energy and engaging personality set the tone for an unforgettable day.
The entertainment was headlined by spectacular performances from renowned artistes:
Mark Revlon, who enthralled the audience with his captivating vocals and stage presence. Mark Revlon is a phenomenal Goan singer whose soulful voice and charismatic performances captivate hearts. A true gem of Goa's musical heritage, he blends tradition and modernity effortlessly, leaving audiences mesmerized every time he takes the stage.
Alina Peris, whose soulful melodies left everyone spellbound. Melodic Jewel Alina is a gifted singer with a voice that resonates with grace and emotion. Her performances are a perfect blend of passion and artistry, making her a cherished talent in the music world. Alina's ability to connect with her audience is truly remarkable.
DJ Kiran is an incredible DJ who knows how to set the perfect vibe with his electrifying beats and seamless mixes. His energy and talent light up every event, making him a favourite for unforgettable musical experiences. The talented Bandscape, accompanied by Remerio Peter Mascarenhas on the trumpet, delivered unforgettable musical moments that resonated deeply with the audience.
Highlights of the event:
Tug of War showcased exceptional teamwork and determination, with Leyton Shipping Team AB (B) winning in the men’s division, while Flyway United A claimed victory in the women’s division.
Christmas Carols brought festive cheer, with Melodic Echoes crowned winners and Dreamzz UAE as runners-up.
The Mini Santa Competition was a crowd favourite, featuring adorable participants across four categories. A special highlight was the heart-warming participation of 18-month-old twins, adding a magical touch to the stage. Santa’s surprise entrance delighted the kids, who danced and collected chocolates with joy.
Jive Dance electrified the crowd as couples impressed with energetic and dynamic performances, while the Family Photo Contest celebrated togetherness, with Lilly and Vivian D’Souza’s family emerging victorious. The Family Photo Contest, held online, was a heart-warming celebration of family love and unity.
Novelties and raffle draw
The novelties section featured over 15 incredible prizes worth AED 12,000, which added excitement to the day. The much-anticipated raffle draw saw an electrifying conclusion with lucky attendees winning coveted prizes. Allan Noronha won the gold coins in the raffle draw.
Housie-Housie
The classic Housie-Housie game was a major crowd-pleaser with six fantastic prizes up for grabs. The lively atmosphere kept participants of all ages engaged and entertained.

The event featured fun-filled activities by Creative Minds, offering a variety of mini-games that brought out the child in everyone.
