Udupi: 62nd KVS Foundation Day celebration held

Udupi, Dec 17: “The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) plays a vital role in inculcating discipline, academic rigor, and leadership qualities among students," said Prateek Bayal, zilla panchayat CEO, at the 62nd KVS Foundation Day celebration held at Kendriya Vidyalaya held in Pragati Nagar, Alevoor.

Prateek Bayal sharing his experience as a former KVS student highlighted the discipline and leadership qualities he got from Kendriya Vidyalaya and motivated the students to dream big to achieve high achievements in life and work hard to make it a reality.

Karim Khan, principal, welcomed the gathering and spoke about the role, legacy and achievements of KVS in shaping students into responsible citizens.

The event witnessed a variety of captivating performances and speeches by the students. A group dance performed by primary students drew special attention.

Outstanding achievers in the 2023-24 CBSE Board Examinations, Chandana and Nagarjuna, were felicitated for their remarkable accomplishments.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by teacher Ragesh M. Teacher Ritu Sharma compered the programme.
