Mangaluru, Dec 19: Team WE R CYCLING (WERC), a leading sports club in Mangaluru, is organising the ‘Kross Mangalore Cyclothon - 2024’ on Sunday, December 22. The event aims to raise awareness about road safety and responsible cycling among school children and their parents.
The 6.5 km rally will start from Mangala Stadium at 7:15 am, with participants gathering from 6:30 am. The rally route will pass through key city landmarks, including Sree Narayana Guru Circle, Lalbagh, Karangalpady Market, and PVS Circle, before concluding at Amrita Vidyalayam in Boloor at 8:30 am.
A post-rally workout session, organised by Kasharp Fitness, will follow, with breakfast served to all participants. A lucky draw will offer 2 bicycles to registered participants, and outstanding local cyclists will be honoured for their performance in state events.
The event is open to all with a registration fee of Rs. 20.
