Udupi, Dec 21: The kindergarten Annual Day celebration of St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School (CBSE) was held with great pomp and splendor, at St Cecily’s Auditorium on December 20.
The event, graced by the esteemed presence of chief guest, Shilpa Shetty, a proud alumna of St Cecily’s, was a joyous occasion celebrating the vibrant talents of our tiny tots.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer dance, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the day. This was followed by an energetic welcome dance that showcased the boundless enthusiasm of the little ones. Naksh T Sarath and Dhanya effortlessly carried the programme forward with their grace and confidence.
Abhigna Hebbar introduced the chief guest, Shilpa Shetty, whose illustrious journey from St Cecily’s to becoming a role model inspired everyone present.
Following the introduction, the school’s annual report was presented, highlighting the achievements and milestones of the year, a testimony to the commitment and excellence of the school community.
The cultural extravaganza began with a delightful playschool performance, where the little stars danced, filling the auditorium with joy and laughter. The LKG students mesmerized the audience with a dance on the theme 'Save Environment', spreading a powerful message about the importance of protecting nature. The UKG children followed with a captivating patriotic dance, instilling a sense of pride and love for the nation.
The chief guest, Shilpa Shetty, addressed the gathering with her inspiring speech. She congratulated the school community for organizing a spectacular event and commended the children for their incredible performance.
