Mangaluru: Expert PU College celebrates Christmas with joy, festive cheer

Mangaluru, Dec 25: Expert PU College, Valachil, celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and fervor.

The event was inaugurated by Walter Nandalike, founder and editor-in-chief of Daijiworld Media, who lit the candles and unveiled the Christmas crib.

In his address, Walter Nandalike praised the college's inclusive vision of education, which embraces all faiths. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from Christmas to foster unity, peace, and harmony in society. He extended wishes for a Merry Christmas. Deepika A Nayak, architect, Expert group of institutions, in the keynote address, highlighted the importance of religious harmony and expressed hope that festivals would bring people together.

Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal, Expert PU College, Valachil, welcomed the chief guest with a bouquet. Deepika A Nayak, architect, honored the guest with a memento.

The programme director Shivappa S P, chief resident mentor Anitha P Shetty, student welfare officer Druthi V Hegde, and other faculty members were present on the occasion.

The event featured Christmas carol singing and dance performances, which added to the festive spirit. The program was compered by Pranathi B Bhat and Bhavish Benaka of 1st PUC.

Pawani Rajaneesh Verma, vice president of the students' parliament, proposed a vote of thanks.

The celebration concluded with a delightful festive meal, marking a joyous end to the event.
