Kundapur: Orientation programme for MBA, MCA courses held in MIT Moodlakatte

Kundapur, Dec 26: The inauguration of a week-long orientation and induction programme for first-year MBA and MCA students was held recently at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Moodlakatte. Dr Suchitra Poojary, head of the MBA department, welcomed the dignitaries and made introductory remarks.

Prashant Kunder, managing partner of Janata Holdings, who arrived as the chief guest and inaugurated the programme, addressed the students on leadership, and new perspectives and development of business. He said that students should improve their general knowledge.

Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, director, Boand Building, IMJ Institutes, explained the purpose of higher education.

Professor Amrutha Mala, dean of placement and training gave information about career guidance in the programme.

Principal Dr Abdul Karim delivered the presidential address and wished the students well.

Dr Nandini, head of MCA department, was present on the stage. Sahara, an MBA student, compered the programme. Prof Neil Gladwin proposed the vote of thanks.
