Mangaluru: Objection by VHP, BD – DJ Sajanka party called off

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Dec 28: A DJ party planned in Bolar as part of New Year celebrations, featuring Israeli artist Sajanka, was altered following objections from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD). The event proceeded with performances by other artists instead.

The VHP and BD raised concerns with the police, claiming that DJ parties encourage drug use and could harm the future of young boys and girls.

They also accused Sajanka of mocking Hindu gods and called for his exclusion from the event. The organizations warned of protests if the artist was allowed to perform.

Responding to the objections, the police denied permission for Sajanka’s performance. Although the artist was present in Mangaluru on Friday, he remained at his hotel and did not participate in the event.

If moral police people are there what's the use of the administration or police in the city ? Let them resign and go. Let able daring officers take the positions in the city to prevent any unlawful activities! We should learn something from efficient educated officers, not from the goons!

While interfering in new year celebrations is condemnable, their concern about drugs is true. Lot of drugs are flowing into Mangalore and responsible parents should ask themselves if they should continue acting deaf and mute or do something about it.

We have to be blamed for this . Not VHP BD or whoever. We lack the Guts and everyone knows this including the law enforcement. Despite having our favorable Government. Time and again its proven, we are just internet warriors and can only comment with fake ids on forums. When it comes to ground support or action we are just bunch of cuxts without any spunk. I hate to say this, but this is the ground reality!
