Mangaluru: Young author Reshel B Fernandes featured in 'Empowered Pen' for literary achievements

Mangaluru, Dec 31: Reshel B Fernandes, a young author and orator from Mangaluru, has been prominently featured in the 2025 edition of Empowered Pen, a magazine published by Authors of India (TAOI) and DRDC Literary Council, Authors Edition, New Delhi. The feature highlights her remarkable accomplishments in the literary field at international, national, state, and other levels, earning her honours from various esteemed organisations.

Reshel is celebrated for her contributions through two significant books. Her first book, Essays on Collective Topics, offers insights into societal concepts and serves as a thought-provoking guide for shaping society. Her second book, Bharat @2047: Role of Youth, is a groundbreaking work dedicated to nation-building. As the first young author to address this topic, she has empowered contemporary society and received widespread acclaim, including the prestigious Author of New Era Award 2024.

In addition to these accolades, Reshel has received prestigious awards from renowned organisations. Her efforts were further recognised when she had the honour of presenting her book to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and other distinguished dignitaries.

Reshel is the daughter of Ronald and Nancy Fernandes, both teachers from Surathkal. She is currently pursuing a law degree at SDM Law College, Mangaluru.
