BSKB Association (Gokul) kicks off centennial celebrations in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 1: The BSKB Association (Gokul), founded a century ago in Mumbai, launched its year-long centennial celebrations with a grand religious ceremony on New Year's Day.

The celebrations, themed "Unity, Tradition, and Culture," will feature a variety of religious, cultural, literary, social, and educational events throughout 2025.

The day began with a special prayer at Shri Rama Temple, followed by a pilgrimage to Gokul in Sion, with devotees joining in bhajans and kirtans as part of the festivities.

Under the leadership of Dr Suresh S Rao Katilu, president of BSKB Association and Gopalakrishna Public Trust, the event saw participation from several prominent figures, including Vijayalakshmi Suresh Rao (First Lady of BSKBA), vice-president Vaman Holla, secretary APK Pothi, and treasurer CA Haridas Bhat.
