Mangalore: Milagres Institutions Alumni to Relive Memories at Reunion on Jan 7

Media Release

Mangalore, Dec 28: The Milagres Alumni Association, Mangalore (MAAM) will hold its second get-together on January 7, 2012 at 6.30 pm at Milagres College Grounds here.

It will consist of honouring of former outstanding students in various fields, cultural programme and variety entertainment followed by dinner. All former students are invited to attend for this annual meet.

Milagres Institutions, which consist of Milagres PU Junior College, Milagres High School, Milagres Primary School, Milagres Kindergarten are located at Hampankatta. They have been providing quality education since 1848.

The Milagres Alumni Association, Mangalore was formed in 2011 by several alumni of the Milagres institutions along with the former and present faculty to provide a forum for ex-students of Milagres to put together the Institution’s values and aspirations through various programmes. The Association also aims to foster a spirit of fellowship among them by bringing them together, enabling them to remain in contact and allowing them to participate in the developmental activities of their Alma Mater.

MAAM membership is open to all ex-students upon paying a lifetime membership fee and also to teaching and non-teaching staff of the institutions. MAAM has also taken upon itself to organise Milagres Alumni annual get togethers.

The first such reunion was held in January 2011 and based on the enthusiastic response from former students, both old and young, it was decided to make it an annual affair.
