Dubai: Sandalwood Star Shivraj Kumar to Perform at Gurukiran Musical Nite

Dubai, Dec 29: Yesteryear super star, Sandalwood King the late Dr Rajkumar's son Sandalwood hero Shivaraj Kumar will be performing with a large troupe consisting of 22 musicians all flown from India to rock music lovers of UAE at Gurukiran Nite which is scheduled to be held on March 23, 2012 at Al Nasr Leasureland Ice Rink.
 
Famous singer Vijay of 'Jai Ho' will also join the troupe to lend his powerful voice with Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and songs from other regional languages.

The programme will be a total entertainment package wrapped with music, songs, dances and comedy.
 
Gurukiran is a noted music director of the Kannada film industry in India. He started his career as a music director of the Kannada movie "A", directed and acted by Upendra. The music won hearts of Kannadigas all over the world. His music for the movie Upendra further consolidated his position in Kannada movie industry. He is a native of Mangalore and his mother tongue is Tulu. He has also acted in several movies in side (character) roles and also sung several songs. He is popular in Kannada cinema for his foot tapping musical scores.

Ex-president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah and well known Konkani activist Noel D'Almeida who has successfully arranged some of the shows in the past will be presenting this musical extravaganza to the people of UAE.
