Udupi: Three attacked by hornets in Herga village, one in critical condition

Udupi, Jan 4: Three people were attacked by hornets in Herga village, Udupi, on Thursday, leaving one in critical condition.

Uday Sherigar is battling for his life at a hospital in Manipal, while Gabriel and Sadashiva, injured in the attack, are receiving treatment.

The trio was en route to a local Ayyappa devotional camp when the hornets struck unexpectedly.

In a desperate bid to escape, Uday ran but collapsed unconscious in a nearby forest. Quick-thinking locals and family members rushed to his aid, getting him to the hospital.
