Kasargod, Jan 7: ICYM Kasargod Vicariate, in association with CKYM Kayyar, is all set to present the much-awaited ‘Kalosthav 2025’, a grand entertainment extravaganza, on January 11 and 12 at the Church ground in Kayyar. Following the success of last year’s cultural and training events, this year’s Kalosthav promises to be an exciting celebration of youth and talent in Kasargod. The event will feature a variety of competitions, music, dance performances, comedy, and ramp walks, offering attractive prizes to participants.
The Kayyar church ground will be transformed into a vibrant venue for these performances, with renowned judges from Kasargod and Mangaluru gracing the event. Fr Ashwin Lohit Cardoza, director of ICYM, diocese of Mangaluru, will preside over the programme on the first day. The event will also be attended by distinguished guests such as Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld Media Group; Vencita Dias, a movie actress; Vinod Kumar, circle inspector of Kumbla; and Dr Melwyn Pernal, a professor at Nitte Engineering College.
On the second day, Fr Stany Periera, vicar forane of Kasargod Vicariate, will preside over the concluding ceremony. Other notable guests include Stany Bela, production director of Daijiworld TV; Ashwin D’Costa, film actor; Reema Dias, a contestant from Big Boss Kannada; Naveen D’Souza, philanthropist and proprietor of VTech Mangaluru; and Rajesh Teruvath Peedikayil, circle inspector of Manjeshwar.
The event is being organized by a dedicated youth team led by Fr Vishal Monis, parish priest and vicariate director, along with Sr Severine D Cunha, youth animator, and other members including Melwyn D’Souza, vicariate president; Neema D’Silva, secretary; Roshan D’Souza, vice president of PPC Kayyar; Zeena D’Souza, PPC Kayyar; Preemal D’Souza, president of CKYM; and Joyal Kishan, secretary. The team has been working tirelessly to bring this spectacular entertainment show to life, ensuring that ‘Kalosthav 2025’ will be the top entertainment event of the year in Kasargod.
