New Delhi, Jan 8: Union Industries Minister H D Kumaraswamy called on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways to take immediate steps to complete te critical national highway projects in the State, including the pending Mandya Ring Road Project in his parliamentary constituency.

Kumaraswamy, who is the JDS MP from Mandya, has said the Union Transport Minster responded positively to the requests like widening, white-topping of Mandya bypass road and development of all junctions and pedestrian pathways on NH-275.

The other projects that were discussed are:

- Development of NH-150A near Pandavapura and Kirangur (Jewargi-Chamarajanagar highway).

- NH-42 connecting Kuppam-Bangarpet-Kolar-Chintamani in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

- NH-69 between Gajanan Circle (Chintamani) and Chelur.

- Connectivity between NH-75 and NH-69 through Hoskote-H Cross-Chintamani.

- Connecting NH-42 and NH-75 via Hoskote-Gownipalli-Srinivasapura.
