Mulky, Dec 31: Mulky police have arrested five people in connection with the attack on a prayer centre at Haleangady here that took place on Wednesday December 28. They have been produced before the court.
 
The accused are residents of Haleangady vicinity, all between the age of 20 to 25. Sanath Kumar, Hanish Pramod Kumar, Madhu alias Tukarama, Ashin are the arrested.

Police said that investigation into the matter has been intensified, and that they are on the look out for the remaining suspects.
 
Police also revealed that the accused admitted having attacked the prayer center. It is said that the accused suspected that religious conversion was taking place in the prayer center, and hence decided to attack.

On Wednesday night, a group of around 15-20 masked people had barged into Pentecostal Church in Haleangady and pelted stones and threw sticks, damaging much of the property.

    Education was there in India before you came here. The countries where you have not entered also have good education system. You entered here to plunder this country, not to improve education system of India. Earlier we had gurukuls, now we have schools.

    If you read Ramayana and Mahabharata, you will understand how much importance was given to education. Do not think education means learning 'ENGLISH'. If learning English is the education, why people of UK/USA are losing out to Indians in getting the jobs? Why they started preserving the jobs? They might be having good English, but we have both brain and English. You fools should know that US president Barack Obama has called for improvement of education system in US to compete with Indians.

    You can trace back our education way back to the time of Aryabhata, Bhaskaracharya etc.

    These seven will not enter Jacobite church.
    Like this there are 146 castes in Kerala alone for Christianity, each
    will never share their churches for fellow Christians.. !

    conversion is not illegul activities,even AMBEDKAR converted to buddism, its constitution right of every citizen of india to choose what they want.if these people don't have any work go and help poor people or working in redlight area,even begger's in street.same people welcoming christian coverting to hindu in Nithyananda Ashram and pandit Ravishankar Guruji.if these people really stop illegul activities stop smugling of poor people rice of Rs 3 and sold it in market for higher price by some criminals.

    Dinesh you should be sent to Pakistan borders to guard our nation rather simply breaking head towards out of 1 billion 2 our converted to christians. You should be known by now that Christians are not done any harm to India rather done great work towards education, health, social development actually done by these padri's.     its bad when such an act takes place, however no one accepts the fact that deprived people from society are targets of such conversion activity and indeed there is a huge flow of monetary help that comes from outside country which is already proven. Unfortunately these local driving force are least bothered about collapse in social fabric over a period of time, which can cause detrimental effect on each and every individual, but alas it will be too late. Time is witness for this.

    Before making any statement first try to findout the truth,whether the case is true or false and afterall who are you all to punish the culprits.No one in Christianity forcing you to convert,if you are willing you can otherwise there is no force.People those who have litreat mind dont talking on the air.Dont make any unwanted comments saying that padri was offering money and all.Do you have the proof come with it.You people are harrassing monority people,look at our good works in the soceity and then talk.

    Mr. Dinesh Poojary everyone has a right to choose their religion. If you believe in your religion why you are listening to others? If you have strong faith in your God nobody can touch you even. The people who got converted may be they dont believe in their Gods anymore. So they are searching for those who can help them.
    this in not called converting. This is called helping whoever in need. Dont mix converting and helping.

    Couple of weeks back a padri was converting people by offering them Rs 25000, in Lingarajapura, Bangalore. The padri was arrested by police after locals protested.

    Now our state Govt should repent for withdrawing cases against 338 big criminals.

    These clowns will never understand that churches are for prayers, not for illegal activities.

    Why all Bishops are silent and silently watching?

    evn though conversion might take place who has given these law to attack somebody, if we christians attack their temples and mutts and gudis saying that they r converting christians is it ok with them??? if so much conversion was going on why are we still so low in numbers???

    RC are not responsible for conversion. But they can help in stoping conversion very effectivly if they have clean heart. There is no smoke with out fire.
