London, Jan 10: Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has reportedly been engaged in private discussions with allies regarding the removal of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer ahead of the next general election. According to a recent Financial Times report, Musk, the world’s richest person, has been exploring ways to destabilize the Labour government and support alternative political movements to challenge Starmer’s leadership.

Musk’s involvement in European politics has expanded beyond the United States, as he previously endorsed the German far-right party Alternative for Germany ahead of elections scheduled for February. His outspoken criticism of Starmer includes repeated calls for his resignation, with Musk accusing the Prime Minister of failing to prosecute gangs involved in the sexual exploitation of young girls during his time as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013. Starmer has defended his actions during this period.

One source quoted by the Financial Times stated, "His view is that Western civilisation itself is threatened." Musk’s influence in shaping political discourse is evident, with his willingness to engage in public debates and utilize platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to amplify his views.

In a move that further emphasizes his involvement in European politics, Musk is scheduled to host Alternative for Germany party leader Alice Weidel for a live interview on X on Thursday. This development has heightened discussions about the role of tech billionaires in shaping political outcomes beyond their home countries.
