Dubai: 'Vozram Motiam' Epic Konkani Music Album Unveiled

Dubai, Dec 31: 'Vozram Motiam' the trendsetting Konkani music album brought out by Mandd Sobhann, was released at Nelson Rodrigues' residence at Karama at 12.05 am on Saturday December 31.

The album was unveiled by Daiji Dubai convener Dayan D'Souza in association with Spark Dubai in a unique way in front of a gathering of 40-50 people.

President of Spark Dubai Anil Prakash compered the event and proposed the vote of thanks.

In his address, Dayan D'Souza said that Mandd Sobhann has been continuously supporting the cause of Konkani culture and literature. "Kalangann is a special gift given by Mandd Sobhann to Konkani community and it is our duty to support Mandd Sobhann whose members have dedicted its time for the promotion of Konkani," he said.

He also requested each and everyone to visit Kalangann at least once whenever possible.

The music album has a treasure of 12 Konkani songs of well-known poets, the music for which is by Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario. The album was released at 70 places all over the world on the same day, which is a record in the history of Konkani music.
