Bellary: Sriramulu to Launch New Political Party on Jan 15

Bellary, Jan 1: As a 'New Year's gift to the backward communities and farmers of the state', the new 'Badavara Shramikara Raithara' party will be launched on January 15, said Reddy brothers' associate former BJP leader B Sriramulu.
He was speaking to reporters here on the eighth death anniversary ceremony of G Janardhana Reddy's mother.
"Our party would contest in all the 224 assembly seats and 28 MP seats in the coming elections, with the motto to work for the poor and the farmers."

"We have started working towards the formation of the new party. In Bangalore and Bellary offices have been put up and will be inaugurated on the day of the launch," he added.
Sriramulu said he would travel the entire state after launching the new party on Jan 15 and expressed confidence of winning all future polls. He will try to find capable candidates in every constituency and build the party, he added.
He resigned from Assembly membership in August when he was denied ministerial berth. He recently won the Bellary bypoll as an Independent by a big margin, defeating BJP and Congress.
MP J Shantha, zilla panchayat president Aruna Thippa Reddy, member Gonal Rajshekar Gowda were present.
Meanwhile, Karunakara Reddy, Janardhan's Reddy's elder brother, put speculations about his ties with Sriramulu to rest and told reporters that he would stick to BJP and not join any new political party. "I am not with Sriramulu," he said.
