Tel Aviv, Jan 12: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued evacuation warnings to residents in parts of Nuseirat, central Gaza, urging them to leave the area on Sunday morning due to ongoing rocket fire by Palestinian terror groups.
“Terror organizations continue to launch rockets from this region despite repeated warnings in the past,” stated Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF's Arabic spokesperson, in a tweet accompanied by a detailed map of the affected zones.
The warning follows Saturday’s interception of a rocket fired towards the Kerem Shalom border crossing, a critical route for humanitarian aid delivery into Gaza. The IDF emphasized the need to evacuate to ensure civilian safety while efforts to counter rocket threats continue.
