New Delhi, Jan 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, attended an exhibition showcasing the contributions of participants at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. This special dialogue was organized as part of an initiative to encourage the involvement of one lakh youths, unconnected to traditional politics, to take an active role in nation-building.
The event coincided with National Youth Day, celebrated annually on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Speaking on Saturday, PM Modi expressed his excitement about spending the day with over 3,000 "dynamic young leaders" selected from across the country. He emphasized the importance of engaging with the younger generation to shape a developed India or "Viksit Bharat."
During the event, PM Modi interacted with young minds passionate about diverse fields such as science, technology, innovation, and culture. The day-long program included discussions, exhibitions, and lunch, providing a platform for youth leaders to share ideas and envision strategies for India’s progress.
