Kundapur: Tipper plunges into river, driver escapes unhurt

Kundapur, Jan 15: A tipper truck engaged in dumping stones near a riverbank for the Ring Road development project lost control and plunged into the Panchagangavali River near Kharvikeri.

The construction work, carried out by a private company, is part of the ongoing expansion of the Ring Road. During the incident, efforts were made using a JCB to retrieve the vehicle from the river.

 

Fortunately, no major mishap occurred, and the driver escaped with minor injuries.
