Mangaluru, Jan 16: Renowned Sandalwood actor Golden Star Ganesh is stepping into Tulu cinema as a producer with an untitled film under his production house, Golden Movies.
The grand muhurath ceremony for the movie was held at the revered Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara Temple in Mangaluru. Ganesh, along with his wife Shilpa Ganesh, graced the occasion, marking the actor’s debut as a producer in Tulu cinema.
This film will be the first Tulu project under the Golden Movies banner and will be directed by Sandeep Bedra. The movie features Nitya Prakash Bantwal and Amrutha Nayak in lead roles. The film's directorial clapboard was struck by Prakash Shetty of Goldfinch, signalling the start of the production.
Several dignitaries attended the ceremony, including former minister Janardhana Poojary, MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, and other elected representatives.
