Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba

Kadaba, Jan 18: A tragic accident claimed the life of a 16-year-old student on Friday January 18 after a bike lost control and fell into a culvert on the Dharmasthala–Mardhala–Subrahmanya state highway near Gargaspal, Peradka, under the Noojibaltila gram panchayat limits in Kadaba taluk.

The deceased, identified as Ashish, was a 10th-grade student at a private school in Peradka and the son of Vishwanath of Hosamane Kaana in Noojibaltila village. He is survived by his parents and a sibling.

The mishap occurred while Ashish was on his way to school. Local resident Sridhar rushed to his aid and transported him to a private hospital in Kadaba, but their efforts were in vain. A case has been registered at the Kadaba police station.

The culvert at the accident spot has been flagged for its unscientific construction, which locals claim has been causing frequent accidents. Residents have urged the relevant authorities to promptly address the issue and undertake necessary repair works.

In the wake of the incident, Kadaba tahsildar Prabhakar Khajure has instructed the police department to take strict action against underage driving. He emphasized that parents providing vehicles to minors will also face consequences.

Sad for the parents of loosing their son with a bike.Heartfelt sympathy to them.On the other hand Parents should be made responsible for such actions of allowing to ride without licence.Did he have a valid licence at all?Or riding of own?Dont blame road for their/his fault.Police should in future better control youngsters of their licence.Pray God to bless his soul and find peace in rest and forgive him .

Why Blame something when its the parents mistake . Its 100% parents mistake no the road .He is just 16 years old he is not allowed to drive . Blame the parents for killing there son not the road . Parents show of with money ad children pay the price of it . How come parents be so low minded in giving a 10th class student a bike ok if its scooty which could have not done that much . Still its the parents mistake
