Mangaluru: St Agnes College organizes ‘Reinforcing Teams with Dynamics’ workshop

Mangaluru, Jan 20: A workshop titled ‘Reinforcing Teams with Dynamics’ was organized by the department of business administration on January 17 at A4 (Avila Hall) for first-degree students. The resource person for the session was Preetham Kamath, a renowned facilitator, behavioral trainer, and counsellor.

The workshop commenced with an engaging ice-breaking session where students were divided into teams of three and were tasked with coming up with a name for their team. This was followed by various team-building activities designed to foster collaboration and enhance teamwork.

The first activity, ‘Bucket Ball', taught participants the importance of being efficient and effective in a team. This was followed by the ‘Disentangle’ activity, where students were encouraged to solve problems creatively without causing harm to anyone. The final activity, the ‘Ribbon Walk’, highlighted the importance of working together as a team, even in the face of difficulties.

Throughout the session, Kamath emphasized strategies for building resilient, adaptable teams that can excel in a rapidly changing environment. The programme not only focused on practical skills but also instilled valuable insights on how to approach challenges with a collaborative mindset.

The session was compered by Diya Shankar of I BBA, and the session was attended by the faculty members of the department, who supported the students participation in the programme.

In conclusion, the workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students, equipping them with essential teamwork skills that will benefit them in their academic and professional lives.
