Sullia, Jan 23: A man who was returning to Bengaluru after a vacation at his hometown has been reported missing, with a case registered at the Sullia police station.

The missing individual, identified as Ganesh (40), is the son of Sundara Naik, a resident of Kurunjigudde, Sullia. Ganesh had been working as an electrician with Ranjith in Bengaluru for the past four years.

On December 28, 2024, Ganesh returned to his hometown on vacation. He left for Bengaluru on January 19 after informing his father that he would catch a bus from the Sullia bus stand. He reportedly boarded the bus and confirmed to his father that he was traveling to Bengaluru.

However, when his father tried to contact him later to confirm his arrival, Ganesh's mobile phone was switched off. Further inquiries with Ranjith revealed that Ganesh had not reached Bengaluru.

A missing person's complaint has been lodged by Ganesh’s father at the Sullia police station. Investigations are underway to trace him.
