Bijapur: Sri Rama Sene Gang Hoisted Pak Flag at Sindhagi, say Police
Bijapur, Jan 4 (PTI): Six college students, owing allegiance to right wing group Sri Rama Sene, were arrested today for allegedly hoisting Pakistan's flag in Sindhagi, 60 km from here, a top police official said.

The students were members of the Sene's Sindgi unit, SP Rajappa told reporters here but added their motive was not known and they were being questioned.
The six had allegedly hoisted the flag in the office campus of the Sindhagi town tehsildar in the early hours of January 1. Efforts were on to trace one more person, he said.
During enquiry police found that a two-wheeler was parked in front of the tehsildar office on the day of the incident. When they took the owner of the two-wheeler and his friend into custody, they revealed the names of the other students, he said.
