Doha: 'Soad-3 International' Qatar Prelims, Semi-finals on Jan 20, 22

Doha, Jan 5: 'Soad-3 International' jointly organized by Mandd Sobhann and Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar in association with Goan Welfare Association and Tiatr Academy, Goa will soon be holding their preliminary rounds in Qatar after the successful preliminary rounds in Mangalore and Goa.
The preliminary rounds for Mangaloreans and Goans in Qatar will be held in Qatar on January 20 and the semi-final round will be held on January 22. The prelims will be held in different sessions for Mangaloreans and Goans.
The preliminary rounds held in Mangalore and Goa are being successuly aired on Namma TV, Goa 365 channels and on TVDaijiworld on every Sunday, which has been greatly appreciated, with viewers eagerly awaiting the next episodes week after week.
Following are the telecast timings in different channels:
On Namma TV – every Sunday 11 am to 12 noon. Repeat telecast will be on Friday 3 pm to 4 pm.
On Goa 365 – Sunday morning 11.30 am to 12.30 noon (from next Sunday). Repeat telecast - 10 pm to 11 pm (same day) and thrice during the week

Soad – 3 International, is a TV Reality show on Konkani singing contest open to all Konkani speaking people from Karnataka, Goa and Konkani people from Goa and Karnataka based in Qatar This contest is keenly looked forward to by many aspirants in Mangalore, Goa and Qatar, to use it as a platform to showcase their singing talent.
The contest is open to Konkani speaking people of Karnataka and Goa origin between the age of 15 and 45, irrespective of religion. The contest is organized to select the best male and female singers from among Konkani speaking Mangaloreans and Goans in India and Qatar and the winners will be conferred with the titles ‘Rai Kogull - International’ and ‘Ranni Kogull-International’ respectively at the finals which will be held at Qatar in May 2012. The winners of Ranni/Rai Kogull will receive Rs 1 lac each and all the four – the best Mangalorean and Goan singers both female/male would get Rs 25,000 each.
